Course Description:
New equipment must pay its way. Upon taking this course, participants will be able to analyze and answer the question, "Is it feasible and financially responsible to purchase this equipment?" The course will review the process of analyzing equipment purchases by comparing the cost of the new equipment against the sum of the increased output and quality, combined with the reduced labor, materials, and equipment costs. Participants will learn how to gather and analyze data on the current and expected process times, waste factors, quality improvements, and other cost comparisons.

Assess equipment purchases using unbiased, logical, and quantifiable analysis.
Become more confident that your equipment purchases will have a positive impact on your bottom line.
Compare the cost/benefit of old versus proposed new equipment.
Identify and quantify the costs and benefits associated with a particular piece of equipment (new or old).
Quickly gather and analyze data that will contribute to your equipment analysis and purchase decision.
Clearly present equipment justification analysis to bankers or other capital lending sources.

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE: Company owners and business/financial managers.

COURSE LENGTH & FORMAT: 4 Hours; classroom presentation, case studies, discussion and Q&A.
