COURSE DESCRIPTION:
It's important to have sound financial
reasons why you make vs. buy parts and subassemblies for your manufacturing
operation. This course will give participants the tools and methods
for make/buy decisions based on sound operations and financial analysis.
Participants will learn how production capacity/capability, capital
investment, organizational/administrative impact and service implications
enter into the decision process. Make/buy analysis sheets demonstrating
essential financial calculations will provide a practical and easy-to-use
approach to make/buy decisions. Course attendees will gain the skills
to be more confident and decisive on make/buy decisions.
