COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This is the first stop on your journey to a more lean manufacturing operation. This course offers an introduction to manufacturing principles that can improve your company's bottom line and ability to compete effectively. This course consists of a combination of interactive classroom presentations and discussion tied to an actual manufacturing operation simulation.

Studies have shown that employees who apply what they learn in training are 60% more likely to retain and benefit from that learning. This course is no exception, as it allows participants to directly experience the benefits of Lean Manufacturing by applying the principles with their own hands in this combined workshop/simulation. Participants will experience how systematic analysis and manufacturing improvements affect bottom line profitability.

COURSE LENGTH & FORMAT: 8 Hours; classroom presentation and discussion, combined with Manufacturing Operation Simulation/Workshop. Shortened lunch period.
